Now I know a lot of you are thinking, "The Tunnel Man already has a different play style!" But Derek balanced TM's game for JUST TM. If you throw up to three other players in the mix, the Tunnel Man suddenly becomes horribly game-breaking again.

Again, let's come up with creative, non game-breaking ways to make each character different! Helpful AND harmful perks are wanted.

I'll keep a list of ideas here,
[?] is a suggestion
[!] is something most people like, and most likely will be included
[blah] is something most people hate, and most likely will be left out
In blue are features that WILL be in the game, whether you like it or not.

Game:
Picking up / standing on other players
? Skeleton mode? If you die.
? High favor + player corpse + altar = revived!

My First thought: NO WAY! ITS OUT! YES!

My Second thought: Aww....

My third thought: For Tunnel man: Breakable Mattock except its Hardcoded?

Shopkeep: Half Price off Store? (Shopkeepers guild) So he can't have his Shotgun and still have something.

Damsel: Well I can't think of something for her.


Questions: Will this be Online Multiplayer?
Do you plan on using the code to make teamwork puzzles?
How will death work?
How will Damsel Healing work?
If it has it, how will the online feature work?
Will you be able to share items?(Get Jetpack and give it to another player)
How will Character Selection work?
I don't know if you have these or not, so if you don't consider them Suggestions.

Oh this is going to be interesting. very interesting how are you going to play it? one keyboard? over the net? needing controllers?

Damsel:
Glass cannon: does and takes double damage

Shopkeeper:
Mabey he could throw bad guys but take damage himself?

Wouldn't it be kind of unfair for Spelunker and Damsel
if TM and Shopkeeper are playing too?

Unless Spelunker and Damsel get upgrades or TM and
Shopkeeper get down-graded.

And, can someone compile GM Pro for me?

by compile you mean steal? no.

Spelunker:
Advantages: The only one who can use any CoG items (IE Ankh). Can revive others with Ankh.
Disadvantages: None.

Damsel:
Advantages: Can heal others with a Kiss every two levels.
Disadvantages: None.

Tunnel Man:
Advantages: Infinite Mattock.
Disadvantages: Starts with 2 hp, no bombs or ropes, and can't use weapons.

Shopkeeper:
Advantages: Starts with Shotgun, gets a 10% discount at shops.
Disadvantages: Can't use collectibles (IE SPring Shoes, Jetpack), flies into a rage when hit.

My ideas.

Also, reduce starting bomb/rope for the 3 that can have them to 2/2.

Just the shopkeeper and the tunnel man would make the game so easy, Beatthelastboss could finish it before he finishes the actual game(No Offence)
Though I do like the Spelunker and Damsel ideas.

well it matters what the rage DOES if it means running left and right and jumping randomly it wouldn't be overpowered at all.
