may I ask what you scraped?

An experience bonus for not touching the ground before killing another enemy. For example, bounce off of one snake onto another, and you'd get a 2x multiplier on the experience given by the second snake. And of course you could chain these to get a multiplier of 3x, 4x, etc. I implemented it badly, though, because it prevented getting any experience when jumping and killing an enemy without landing on it (for example jumping to whip a bat). Since even getting the bonus happened rarely, I decided it wasn't worth the effort to rework the entire system to fix the problem.

I made a gun that turns enemies to stone. I decided it didn't add much to the gameplay and made things a bit too easy, so I took it out.

And I had two new skills, one that halved damage and one that quartered damage. These also made the game too easy.

Sure. Though, most of the stuff has code all over the place and I'm afraid it's not commented. It should be pretty easy to figure out what I've added, though, as my variable names are pretty explanatory.

Little off topic plug:  me mod has a fully functioning save game now.. Wink

Love this mod.  Its pretty much the way I play Spelunky now.  The roguelike side of the game is something I'd love to see expanded in whatever ways you have planned.  Hope its still in developement.

Quick idea: Why don't you make antidote a carryable item? That way, it can trigger as soon as it's needed, like a parachute, but it won't be wasted if the player isn't poisoned at the time of picking it up. Not ONCE have I ever found an antidote in a place where it actually helped me.

Also, the new gun is AMAZING. Just exactly how much damage does each pellet do???

Hopefully no one noted this already and I'm not just repeating junk, but just a little bug I noticed: if you don't have enough XP to buy an item and try to, the Shopkeeper freaks out as if you stole or attacked him.

You can pretty much assume anything from over a month ago isn't being worked on.

Which is everything.

They're not all completely abandoned, though...for example, Spelunkémon is merely on an ever-growing hiatus while I deal with more pressing projects.

Unfortunately, no. I lost interest as I realized the things I wanted to add would need new artwork, and I'm a relatively poor pixel artist.
