I've been playing Spelunky on my desktop for a few days now, but one day it stopped loading. I can't even load the config program. It just crashes without showing anything when I launch it.
I am not sure if I changed anything on the computer or not. I don't think I did.
Of note is the fact that no GM games will run on my computer after this started happening.

You didn't get an error on exiting or anything the last time you played? I've had a few unrecoverable crashes from GM games, but not with Spelunky. This is a very strange bug to affect all GM games.

Did you install/change/edit anything before this happened? Try and 'retrace your steps' between GM Games working and then them not. Of course there's always system restore if there's one made at an ok time.
