It's about my avatar, maybe it makes more sense in the new avatar topic, but it is about the forums in that respect. Besides, the last forum related point was made over a week ago .

Alright, back to topic.
We should really get some more discussion in XBLA. Right now it's all just dead hype. D:

Agreed. Someone make a topic asking who will be getting the game when it's out.. I'm not a big topic-maker my self. I don't know why, something just stops me from clicking that "Post" button...

I wanted to add a spoiler tag would be nice on the forums, and I think the Games forum should be renamed "Other Games" with a subforum for Forum Games. ....I said "forum" four times

How would Derek add this stuff to it anyway, though? Is there some box he can tick to allow spoilers or something in some administrator page?

Well with some forum makers you can "download" add ons, it's that or he would have to code it. most likely the frist one, if it where just clicking he would of done or more likely the not

That might be a decent idea, the question is how to make it accurate. The obvious problem being a troll deciding to just thumb down/-1/whatever anyone they don't agree with. Or on the opposite, friends spamming each others +1. I would be for it if we could make it honest somehow. Otherwise, Gummy would have had to beg for thumbs up when he first started, after a while he got much better (sorry you always become the example man ). Right now I don't think he would deserve a huge negative, but coming back from that would have been a task.

Yeah, I guess it wouldn't be all that accurate and honest. Well, maybe we can just have a +Rep system. No minus reputation, just plus. If someone is respected they gain 1 bar.. The max rep is 5 or 10 bars? Maybe gain a couple of respects to go up one bar. That friends thing would probably be more accurate than you'd think, too.. Because if they're friends of that person in the first place, then that means that they do respect them, and so they have every right to +Rep them. Bump/Edit: Extended signatures. Higher max character limit for hyperlinks etc. If abused, the abuser's sig can be removed.

Up only would probably work, I saw that on another forum recently. Says something like user has received +2 rep for this post. But then we'd need Derek to come make some little honor badge sprites or something for people with high rep.
Ex Sig line= yes + 200, Look at my pathetic sig! The second link barely fits in there! It looks horrible, there can still be limits but the current one is a little small comparatively. I think that not many people use them here, or don't use very complicated ones, but still should be bumped up.

WIN FOR ME! Anyway, yeah. I'm sick of small signatures. As I said before, if the longer sigs get abused, those signatures can be removed easily.

( See: Facepunch Forums) < they also work on vBulletin I think the mods (just DeLGato so far, but this post is intended to stand the test of time) should delete silly posts that do not move the threads forward, such as, well, the majority of GummyBears' posts. I only tend to post once to topics in general always trying to give in-depth thoughts and precise answers to the questions at hand, unless I have to reply to someone later on. Unless I feel my comment will move the conversation forward, I do not post, simply put. I believe this way of participating in a forum conversation should be code for everyone and every forum they participate in. Just a thought on some people's attitudes to posting. Also, although I am a confident and all- around excellent speller* (without trying to seem like a braggart), I'd like to recommend everyone downloads dictionaries for their web browsers so they can spell check what they are writing in text boxes. There are such downloads for the Opera, Firefox, and Chrome browsers (the 3 I switch between irregularly), while Internet Explorer has some third-party extensions available if you are so willing to use it. I am not aware of such a tool for the Safari browser as I have never used it myself, but do look for one, as spell checking tools can be of great help in putting down words correctly and precisely. * = (got 50/50 in every yearly test in school except this year when I got 49/50 when I spelt the word 'armour' the American way by accident [armor])

I must agree Dudemaster. If you don't have anything to add to the conversation, you may as well not post at all. Spell checking your posts helps them look more professional, which you always want. I thought Firefox had an auto-spellchecker though? It might be a good idea to get a grammar checker too. Something like what Microsoft Word has.
Just my two cents.
