Hmm, maybe you could rewind to the point before you did the action that caused your death after you die, using a "Rewind(which you have a limited amount of)," and also using a "Rewind" to get yourself unstuck...
...
That would be epic.
In game maker it would be very hard.

I like this idea. This idea is evil.

This makes me happy.
I would make the circle surrounding the Spelunker bigger.

When I play dark levels, I feel really trapped. It's uncomfortable.
But good idea! This would be great!

But I'll just say that either this or the Physics Mod is on Super-Haitus.

Should it be the Physics mod or this mod that's on Super-Haitus?

I just started making my mod with the Spelunky Copy Challenge, and I just started so I can change it to Realistic being on haitus if you guys prefer Physic.

So what'll it be then? Realistic Spelunky or Physic Spelunky?

Aww, please don't give up on this, since this is the first modification I am genuinely interested in! Do not let your courage falter!

Also, for the purpose of saving time and being a video game, please do have the Esc+F1 command. To make it realistic, just have the spelunker strangle himself with his whip or something, or otherwise the game's inability to quit and save their results at the time of their death would drive people mad, so I would recommend against that route.
