We're just looking out for the rating system. If a rating is pulled down because someone doesn't like it, as opposed to it simply not being good, well then it kind of ruins it for others as well.

Ratings are essentially opinions, and those opinions will likely be formed based on enjoyment. It would be expected that quality and fun factor are positively correlated, but in a case like Evil Death Spelunky, the player might not appreciate how much effort was put into it because they didn't enjoy the end result.
Regulating this would be too much of a task. If you see a rating you don't agree with, maybe you should ask why they gave it that rating instead of just complaining about it.

Anyway, it would be nice if there was some sorta program or application to auto-tally those votes for keg, how exactly are you going to go about comparing votes? Also are you going to keep track of how many votes were given per mod? I figure that would help in rating things since if a mod got an average of 4 per 20 votes it would obviously be more trustworthy of a rating then say if a mod got a 4 based on 5 votes, I mean two of five people couldve rated it a five where the other three couldve rated it a lot less, am I making sense?

Also, Spelunky Relaxed isn't a released mod -- or even a mod in development. It's mostly a complaint/debate thread.
Also Magneto Mod has it's own listing as well as appearing under the Hero Mods.
Also, hi forums, this game rocks, these mods rock, and I am in awe of all of you.
