The world is in chaos, kingdoms at war. You have two solders and your sword. Death or glory await.
Well long story short, it's a tactics game with rouge maps and bad guys. more to come shortly. Ask questions, and I answer.

So the stats are going to be:
Attack: damage done/physical power
Defense: Damage blocked
Speed: Chance to hit.
Evasion: Ability to dodge
Mind: Magic damage/brains
Wisdom: Magic defense
Reflex: Reaction time/ who moves first.
Thanks to darius kazemi we have a working movement system so that part is good.

I have no plans for game pad support at this moment, this isn't the kinda of game that needs it. (totally turn based)

I was wondering, were you planning on making this multiplayer? Or strictly vs NPC's ? I don't usually like RTS's, but the stats might make this interesting. Will they be static, or get higher as you beat the story, or something else?

This isn't an real time game. this is turned based.
Every character well have their own stats as they themselves level up by killing/hurting others. (bad guys to If I can get it working which shouldn't be hard)
And the story isn't so much a story as.. well you know spelunky's story in the three quotes in the game? thats about how much story there is.
Multiplayer would be nice, but I am not sure how it would work. (a group in the middle that you can get to join your sides and level up on?)
