Hey! I just found the Knytt Stories and pass all in-package levels.

Can you give me some advice, what level I should play next?

If you did all the levels by Nifflas, the next ones you should try depends on what aspect you like most about the game.
If you want something with more challenges, (jumping puzzles and such) try out The Life Ruby, Chamber of Trials, Temple of the Sun or The Tower;
Something more laid back and exploratory? Get A Walk at Night.
If you want something crazy, that's Don't Eat the Mushroom.
And for ultra-challenge, The Explore Challenge.
I highly recommend the ones in bold whatever your taste. Smiley

Thanks! I found some levels already.

My favorite on this moment is Walk at Night (man, I love it), Don't Eat the Mushroom (I am not laughed so much for a long time) and Above and below the waterfall (just WOW, I opened it in editor to make sure it passable, still not change anything).

And like Dark Sky of Wish Mountain, Dukit's pack (3 Square, 4 Square, Logic, Reason) and Flipping Out (it's like The Portal)

Haven't seen Above and Below the Waterfall, I'll have to go get that. Make sure to get Temple of the Sun too!  Smiley

Have you tried the KS Advanced yet?

Advanced? I will try it!

Temple of the Sun is awesome, thanks! It reminds my Spyro the Dragon somehow.

And here is Above and below the waterfall.
Difficulty on max: one and half egueens.

Cool, thanks that will save me a trip.  Grin
Temple of the Sun is actually an homage to Shadow of the Colossus, one of the most beautiful (though admittedly empty) games to come to PS2. Made by Team Ico, it's large and empty, but really, really good.

Regarding advanced, hope I didn't get your hopes to high or anything, (probably should have explained it before) but it's really just a fan update of the engine which allows for some extra options. Things like one-way platforms, more color options for Juni, and blocks that stop enemies, but allow you to pass. There are a lot of additions, but last time I checked it only a few levels were made specifically for it, but you can still run the normal levels on there too.

Can I change Juni sprites to my own in advance?

Temple of the Sun also reminds me works of this artist.

HOLY CRAP! and those are pixel art!?! That's just.. bgoiwinmeyp! (note, not a real word)

OK I'm back sadly, no, you can't actually change the sprite of Juni without modifying the source code. Which, even if released, would require Multimedia Fusion. Actually I may have even been wrong about the color, I thought you could choose two different colors for her dress, but I may be wrong.

Anyway, have you made any levels yourself yet? I really like the editor Nifflas put with it, and making custom objects is really fun too. I've yet to make anything decent, but have had an idea I want to try.... Lips Sealed

Ops! Looks like my version of Knytt Stories Manager not working at all. I created "warp", open manager, set it up, save. And nothing!

Can someone give me good version?

Fixed

I'm totally not like Knytt Level Editor and Knytt Stories Manager (which completely won't edit screens).

Are they the ones from Nifflas' site? I've never had a problem with the editor.

I have problems only with Knytt Stories Manager, editor works fine, I just don't like it's interface. But Knytt Stories Manager won't modify world.ini file. Can you send me your KS Manager version?

Anyway, I used to edit files manually. I made half of changes in my levels from notepad.

I remember having problems there at first also, for me it was the install location. Apparently if you have it installed somewhere with a long name, (such as C:/Users/My Computer/Desktop/Game Folder/Free Games/Knytt Stories) it has trouble reading and writing the files. If that's the case, try moving the whole folder somewhere closer to the base hard drive (such as C:/Knytt Stories).

If that doesn't fix your problem PM me and I'll send you mine to see if it helps.

Ooooh, me me! Well, hopefully if we're on at the same time.

Well, no players were listed, do you have to add them somehow? Or does that mean no one is on?

Edit: also, wow we're the only ones in this thread. Does no one know how great Knytt Stories is? :_(
