The dsi is SO worth it. it's way better then the ds, anyone that says otherwise hasn't tried it or... well I guess they just don't like cool stuff.
(mostly joking about people that say other wise)

cameras, interent, and DOWNLOADABLE GAMES? also bigger screen and more battery life, as well as a strange program you can download thats almost like youtube +hand drawn. |

I think you just sold me on a DSi. Didn't know about some of those features.
Also I got this game on Steam. Great gameplay and style, but waaay too short. 3 levels? C'mon Capcom, that ain't cool. There was a ton of potential wasted doing the same thing and the end boss of each level was the same every time too, with a slight and easily anticipated alteration of its attack pattern. It was just a small taste of a classic Capcom game.

I was thinking about buying a DSi, but I'm not sure I'd rather wait for the 3DS. Although, given recent precedents, they'll come out with a sleeker model for the latter right after I get it.

It's on steam? it's better for the dsi. you can take it everywhere and play it. but don't get a dsi now. the 3ds does all the dsi stuff and better and there won't be a 3ds model for a while |

Yeah I have 2 DS's and a GBA, I'd still get a DSi just for those features. Sound editor? Sweet. I'll definitely get a 3DS too, but for the same reasons you say, maybe not right away.
I just prefer to game on PC if I can, and I really only play my DS in waiting rooms, on trips, or during long renders or compiles. Still haven't beaten Phantom Hourglass or Metroid Hunters and I got those on day one.
On topic: game is too damn short.
