Do you get this error when you place a shoppy in a custom level and test it? Does it happen when there are items near him? I have an idea, but I need a little more info.

Science says: No problems in customs levels. However, in the main game, picking up certain items, eg: lock chests causes the game to be all "ohnoes errors". If a Shopkeepr is around, that is.

Hmm. Best solution I can come up with is...
Go to object oItem, and add this to its Create event: buyMessage = "";
See if that helps.

See, I should of done that to start with. Go Hali for obviousness pointing out.
Also, here's the root of the problem:
To see if a Shopkeeper reacts to an item, it's cost varible is checked. This is set to zero when items decrate or are otherwise created out of shops.
Except for pots, rocks, skulls, keys and locked chests. Derek gave them a value of zero. This didn't matter in regards to Shopkeepers. However, to make these items vendable, I gave them non-zero costs. Ergo, Shopkeepers would react to them when picked up. For some reason, buyMessage is not set in oItem's create event. Ergo, items not sold in stores, when grabbed, caused an error, since the Shopkeeper gets the white part of his message from the item. Set a default buyMessage for oItem, crashes solved.
However, now Shopkeepers flip out when you grab an item outside of their shops. Easy fix this time. Hooray!
EDIT: Or not. Lack of comments = confusions. YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
EDIT2: Idea for fixings maybe.
EDIT3: Success! I'll post the fix soon!

Major Minor Update!
This fixes a serious error with Shopkeepers. It also fixes a interaction between Shopkeepers and Vending Machines that made using them together ungood.
I also added in another Easter Egg. It's like the others ones: A random thing that shows up for some items when used with a certain Editor+ thing.

Step 1: Open oEditor. Step 2: Realise what both I and halibabica had to work with. Step 3: Quit your whining. Also Magic Signs do healing.

Well yeah, but it's pretty much complete now is it not? So it may not be necessary to keep the list up any more and just include it as a .txt that comes with the download if you wanted.
Also the list is outdated too, the "place water under this tile" was removed when you added layers yes?
Any way, it's not like it matters if you keep the list up or not I was just thinkin about it :0
