Is the flare in the center of the screen used for keeping the view centered between the two players? I don't have a lot of game-maker experience... Would it be possible to use a small black pixel, or a transparent pixel for the tracking?
Yes it would be easy to do that, they did this as a a matter of testing. I'm also curious as to whether you'd like someone to make up some Spelunky-guy sprites that are wearing different colored clothes for the difference players, since the damzel is missing quite a few animations. I could give it a shot.
The girl isn't missing any animations, there are just glichs that don't show them right. Also they already have recolors to use if and when the time comes

I got this when I had player 2 join on the title, then went in the scores room (removing player 2) Then gong into the start.
Not only does this error occur, but if ignored, you'll see that levelgen won't work, resulting in a blank level.

Hey yawl! I'm glad your back Keg! I've been real busy as of recent, with outdoor things. I have abit more done on this and I'll send to keg and if he wants we'll release a small update. I also got hooked on doing some work on my old explorer mod and have made some MAGOR advances... it's such fun programming, really alot more my bag. So, yeah. a few fixes, a few features and some ideas how to get some of the deal breaker bugs out. Mario: To do with the bug you said, thank you! It has been seen and won't occure if you play 2 player... i think. we'll fix it easy, soon...  EVERYONE: give some props to the 'online' coop crew too! They is foreals. I helped out alittle and they showed me some real cool looking pictures  I think they are aways off any release any soon, but they are on their way! YUP!

Also to give this mod a boost:
Online co-op is indeed impressive, and I highly respect Twitch and Patrick for making it a reality. However, don't go forgetting about this mod yet!
While online multiplayer is convenient, I feel like its much more fun playing hot seat with your buddies right next to you.
That's the trade-off there. Online: More convenient. Call a friend, get a game going, have fun! Hotseat: More... interactive? Is that the word? Call a friend, have him come over (takes more time) but get the whole screaming "OMG!!" rawr yea!! stuff that comes when you play right next to each other.
It's like the difference between playing Super Smash Bros. online or offline.
