Well, that depends.
I think slowing the rate of fire from
the "magnum" should be the same
as the rate of fire from the shotgun,
if it stays long-range.
If not, I guess as fast as the whip.

For the Damsel thing her giving health wouldn't help much, and would be useless.

Maybe ask if you can have the potion mod mixed with this as a way of refilling [one person's] health.

MP Spelunky, More addictive then peggle ever could be - CAN'T WAIT ^^

Spelunky is really a Pulp actions RL... Like Indiana Jones, It's almost always about the main hero and his girl (sometimes).

But Spelunky is also about the Cave (isn't it the Shifting Cave or something?), and a cave is really a dungeon (in the classic tabletop RPG term anyway), and what goes into dungeons - in teams, I tell you; Adventures!

The classic combo of the Fighter, Cleric, Thief and Wizard.

A Fighter could have a charge ability, (running head first and swinging his sword, of course he shouldn't be able to run thought a mummy, so maybe a power full knock back (on himselfs) when doing such a foolish act...

The Cleric a onetime resurrect to 1 HP (maybe pr. world, then the players have to carry the dead body of a party member until recharge), the player will feel great when using it, and important because without him no healing... He might be able to cast the Bubble Effect from my Mod instead (It's really powerful)

The Thief maybe he don't trigger traps, or simple evades them so traps don't hit him, should have a steal ability maybe when taking a Item the shopkeeper takes 3 seconds to anger... or some other steal mechanic.

The Wizard; a onetime pr. lvl cast of psychicwave. Might also just get one cast pr. lvl so if he don't use it; he have one more on the next lvl.

This seems more like something that should be its own mod.

This seems more like something that should be its own mod.

Think of it as archetypes:

The Tunnelman Could be the Fighter (or the Thief, he is real sneaky with that mattock  Wink)

The Spelunker the Wizard (he have a hat after all)

The Shopkeeper the Thief (or the Fighter)

The Damsel the Cleric

Ok, I only read the first post, but will this be online, also I have an idea for TM, his mattock could have a random chance to break each level (or it could have a set amount of uses (like 10 or 20)it wouldn't be as game breaking then), then next level he would have a new one, and the idea for turning the muiltiplayer into a RPG type thing is a bad idea.

this question has been answered. (not online) and we never said turn it into an "rpg type thing"

Game maker isn't coded to use a server to search for players that are currently on searching for game status. The game would also lag really bad unless you had a top of the line server and computer.
