So for those of us who already beat the game many times, got all the gold trophies, and can easily pull off a black market raid. Let's add some more challenge to the game!
And don't use the tunnel man! He makes some of these challenges considerably easier, like the black market one.
I have two right here, anyone else with suggestions, feel free to share them.
Beat the game with the KEY for the Udjat Eye chest!
Raid the black market WITHOUT killing any shopkeepers!
And here are some proposed by other people:
Beat the game with the BALL AND CHAIN!
Beat the game with starting supplies only! Meaning don't pick up ANYTHING!!
Pacifist! Play as the damsel and beat the game with NO kills! (or maybe one, depends on whether or not the boss counts as a kill)
Greedless! Beat the game with ONLY 50,000 gold!
Telefrag every shopkeeper in the BM!
Plus one ALMOST impossible one:
Beat the game using NOTHING you can purchase from a store and or obtain from an altar.
That means no bombs or ropes (not even your starting ones), and don't buy/steal/take from crates/loot from murdered monsters/dig up anything.
Use only your whip, and whatever tossable, handheld, regular object you come across.
Theoretically, it IS possible.

I saw someone mention finishing the game with the ball and chain (by angering Kali twice or thrice) in another post, and that indeed would be challenging....

Simple idea, beat the game using no items apart from your starting supplies. That means no crates, no items, no damsels, blah blah blah.

That would probably be best. He just makes it so much easier. I thought you already had that rule, but he looks so suave!
Was that rule there? My mistake if it was. |

Yeah, I've done the ball and chain run by using the debugger to give me a ball and chain at the beginning of every game. Was.... very boring.
I'm trying to do 0 money, but thats tough. No kills sounds neat. I still need to do starting supplys only. It seems like something any decent spelunker should do.
I also did a run where I gave my self a machete at the start and kept it the whole game. That run made me really hate the damned thing.

Hmm I think I'm up for that challenge myself. So you'd need a screen of yourself having only 50,000 gold, as thats what you get for just finishing the game.

So I'm working on a no item run and just thought that a pacifist run is next to impossible and almost totally luck based, since theres so many times enemies get killed by stuff around you.

Huh, yea I forgot about that. Those still count as your own kills then? I know there are some ways baddies can die that don't count towards your score.
