With 1.1, you can no longer flip-hang over spikes and be safe.

It took away ALOT of things (being able to jump with Tunnel Man's mattock comes to mind) that make the game slightly easier. Thankfully the spikes are only a Big issue for world 2 and the custom levels.

Yeah, the spikes thing was kind of unexpected side effect of some changes I made!  It's how they were originally meant to work, but I also kind of liked how you could safely drop one tile.  So... we'll see!

But no, you shouldn't ever feel safe.  EVER.

And when you jump when already standing on spikes (Overlapping), you die, no matter what.

You know, an interesting compromise might be to have it so if you fall 1 tile into spikes you take damage, but aren't instantly killed. Higher falls would be lethal as before.
