I managed to make it to the final boss on a "speedrun" of sorts (wasn't so much a speedrun as it was an UNLOCK THAT CHALLENGE ROOM FKLANSFJSDKALSJDKL run).
I actually successfully killed him.
and myself in the process
6 minutes of my life down the drain right there

Haha... once I ended up winning except the blocks under the exit were gone due to a FIRE FROG (Sudonimus)... so I had to throw myself into the pit of lava  |

Except he didn't crush me. He fell in such a way that he SHOULD have crushed me, but he didn't. It's even more annoying when you realize that I could have just thrown a rope up before he fell and then quickly timed a jump.
