Hello! This is probably an insignificant request for most, but the option of cloud saves would be great if it were straightforward to implement.

I usually play on my home PC but I take my netbook around with me when on trips to play Daily Challenge, and it'd be nice to have the same progress (thankfully Achievements and high scores are stored in the cloud) but I'd like to use my log progress and unlocked characters and continue unlocking others during normal runs too.

Also would be nice to know your save is safe in case your PC dies, etc.

Again, it's a small feature, but one I'm interested to see if there's much support for. Thanks!

The better question to ask is, "why not have the gog.com version support having the save game file in the same directory as the main game's executable so that we can make it portable"?

(We could just upload said save game to the cloud and then download it if we want to play it somewhere else.)

To answer your question, I don't know if Derek Yu or the other devs are willing to rent a server just for that.
