Hitting yourself with own thrown object as you throw it

When I play I make very acute movement changes sometimes just as I throw, and I found that if you throw and turn at just the right timing you will actually hit yourself with your own projectile before as it leaves your hand, with nothing nearby to bounce off of. I'm not 100% sure what the timing is as it's hard to reproduce, but I've killed myself a couple times by "knocking" myself into something deadly.

Ha yea... I just thought I'd come back and check since I managed to do it again. I got a bomb-chest, grabbed the bomb, jumped off a ledge, attempted to throw the bomb at a large spider nest and then turned but the timing was "off" (glitched) and I hit myself and the bomb went to my feet... I'll just make a video I guess.
