So I just bought the game from GOG.com, and when I go into the options, there's none for using my controller. It's a PS3 usb controller, and ironically works just fine with the Classic Spelunky.
Is it not possible to use a controller on the HD PC version?

I'm playing the Steam version but my Logitech controller is working just fine.
EDIT: I also just tried my backup gamepad, a Razer Onza (RZ06-0046) and it works fine too, if that helps anybody. Now it goes back under the bed, because it's a piece of junk. If anyone is looking for a controller with a D-pad that sticks and is somehow even more poorly designed than the one on the 360 controller, and bumper buttons that click so loudly it sounds like someone throwing pebbles at a window, this is the gamepad for you.

Odd, I just find it weird Classic supports it, but it doesn't seem that the paid version doesn't.

Still only shows a keyboard as the only controller.

I use my PS2 controller (with an adapter) with Joy2Key to emulate the keyboard. Works just fine.

Joy2Key doesn't see the controller.

So, as the forum here now has, what, three or four controller threads that are all being given the "Deal with it" treatment, I know now it was a waste supporting the game's return to PC.

That's odd, Joy2Key has been able to detect everything I've thrown at it so far. Check to make sure windows recognizes the controller (look in devices). Obviously Spelunky won't see it if your computer can't even recognize it.
