Been a looong time, and just now heard about the port. I'm actually pretty excited since after all this time I still don't have a 360. xD

That's okay you're not alone. Spelunky was one of the primary reasons I got a 360 too. Hopefully Destiny will be good enough to help validate my purchase decisions Tongue

Hopefully it has pretty good modding support. Is there any semi-pirate proof way to release source code? If so this remake should utilize it.

I donno. It's not exactly a piracy issue. If it's in Humble Bundle, it'll be DRM-free anyway. I still don't expect it to be open source though. But it's certainly possible to make a game moddable without releasing the source code.

Maybe he's made an awesome modding system and that's why it took so long to reach PC. Cool Alright, that's probably overly optimistic, but who knows.

Excellent!

(though I guess this means I won't be able to make it to 500 wins on 'old' spelunky anymore... )

Maybe... just maybe... we will get online multiplayer   Cheesy

PC's are terrible for local play after all.  I don't really care about level editors, the whole charm of the game is the random level generation.  If modders or the workshop can add more stuff (or an entirely new theme) to the random generator itself then I will be more than happy.

All of this is only possible because of me XD. http://mossmouth.com/forums/index.php?topic=2621.0

Edit: I was joking.
