Time to make everyone jelly. Skoke and I went to quakecon and some of the devs of The Elder Scrolls Online were there. It doesnt come out until spring 2014 but they had a build running for us to demo Cheesy

Seems strange to me to demo an online game that you can't play online, or could you play with the people in the beta?

In other news, I just found out the other day Microsoft finally figured out how much everyone hates MS points and decided to change to actual money. Took 10 years to figure that out huh?

Oh, so like a LAN thing? That's cool, does it feel like Elder Scrolls still? Or does it have more of that MMO feel?

It was still very much elder scrolls.

They did add classes though, so instead of picking perks and stuff you get class specific skills or whatever. It was beautiful though. The graphics were still on a skyrim level.not toned down at all really

Cookie Clicker
This is another one of those browser games where you click things to collect things to buy other things which unlock better things that make you collect things faster and you can upgrade all the things...which I keep getting addicted to (but without the microtransaction bullshit seen on shiny fingerprint collecting devices). This one has graphics and nice interface.

Previous games like this, if you missed them:
Candy Box
A Dark Room

Will definitely try this. I like the browser games you suggest.

The Candy Box was too slow for me, but Cookie Clicker is uselessly addictive, and A Dark Room was really cool, like an old text adventure. Still pretty awesome to rule the world with cookies.  Cool
