So I guess I'm bumping this thread inadvertently, but I'm wondering if anyone else remembers Read or Die? Randomly starting humming the theme the other day at work and can't remove it from my brain.

Nope, sorry.
Quick off-topic comment: I've always liked the original Dragonball more than Z and GT and whatever else there is. It's much more humorous and light-hearted. (And you don't spend 2 whole episodes watching some guys scream)

I agree, but DBZ was the first anime I really started watching, later got the Dragonball DVDs. I am surprised not many people know of R.O.D though, I found it by accident but really loved it. You should check out the movie if you guys have Netflix or anything, it's just a lot different than most anime. (meaning not feudal Japan, not giant robots, and not invincible super mega fighters)
