I see that you're aiming this to be in a similar style as IWBTG.

Bugs:
  • Nathan doesn't have a walking animation.
  • Nathan jerks when jumping.
  • Nathan can disable the ability for the other playable characters to wall.

Suggestions:
  • Make the villian be in an idle pose instead of a walk cycle when confronting the character representing you (yellow megaman does have an idle pose, doesn't he?).
  • make the first sign tell you how to change characters.
  • make a sign telling you how to jump and wall jump.
  • Make wall jumping easier.

Nathan DOES have a walking animation. If you look very closely at his feet you can see them move up and down.
I will soon give the villian and idle pose and I will also add more signs. About making walljumping easier, well I don't know how to do that since that would require me to have to heavily change the collisions of the walljump blocks.

K, a few things:

First off, why the hell are you the protagonist, with Mars as the antagonist? and Shane is your sidekick? Didn't you two cuss out the forums and all its users a matter of weeks ago at Shane's forum? The fuck?

Second, like Karjam said, you do not explain in the game how to switch characters. Also it's rather weird that in order to make most of the jumps, you have to jump with Nathan then switch to Super for the double jump. Unless of course, that's a glitch and I suck at jumping...

Third,  why are you representing everybody from other video game protagonist's sprites? With you using other games' music, engine, and sprites. With a generic "Super saves the day" plot... how can you really call this your "great" game?

Fourth, you cannot save the game with anybody other than Super.

ALSO:
Just remove all wall jumping parts. Seriously.


This doesn't seem like constructive critism to me.

In fact, it seems more like complaining.

Please don't be angry with him. Stuff like this could make Super angry again.

Super claims he has asperger syndrome.

A major symptom  is bad social skills, which explains how he got angry.

With the fact that Mars is an antagonist, even if he was the indentity of "Mr Z", the antagonist, have you heard of "creative license"?

The reason why tropes like Take That exist.

If by "antagonist" you mean he's a boss (I never got past the first screen), the story is that "Mr. Z" brainwashed all the people of Mossmouth to be on his side. I think the protagonists are actually Beating The Brainwashing Out Of Them, rather than killing them.

Super really wants to change his attitude towards members of Mossmouth, so don't just assume he hasn't gone over the bitterness.

Spike Hit Detection is on purpose, since at some points you need to squeeze thru small 32 by 32 gaps and I didn't want people to be forced to use Nathan just for that. The game glitched up when I tried to give them all save abilities.
Music starting over when you die will soon be changed. I will change the character switch buttons and walljumping IS possible with other characters then Super. It's just more effective as Super since he jumps just the right height and have just enough gravity to cling to the wall the best. About removing them: Probably in the next beta they will be replaced with something else.
EDIT: Yeah I forgot to enable the close minimize and restore buttons, this will be enabled in the next beta. I may even release a small fix beta as the next beta rather then a full out new content beta.

I made this thread for a game I made, not for "if I'm going to get angry or not"
Plus Karjam was mistaken. I'm not going to spam the forum all because I get angry again!
