My first draft sounded a bit demanding. Then I went over it all again and rewrote it.

Sorry, only joking, I read the bit about you hoping it didn't sound to rude and demanding and was compelled by my strange sense of humour to post my response.

I've now read past the first paragraph and you have some good suggestions, especially the LB hiding the HUD.

@Kurtino: In the PC version the music slows down about 30 seconds before the "I feel a chill" message signals the ghost's arrival at the edge of the stage. Now, there is no advanced warning--just the chill message once he's in the level. The extra heads-up from the music queue on PC was usually enough to wrap up your business and get out.
@Dr. Mario:
- Cooking a bomb by holding "B" sounds great, but I'd still like to be able to drop unlit bombs as well.
- Left bumper to fade out the HUD is a good idea, but I'd still like to make it less obtrusive all the time. An overall semi-transparent option, maybe?
- The glasses letting you see monsters in pots would be super cool.
@All: Thanks for the great replies/discussion.
