Are those the Spelunky whip and jump sounds?
No, but they are a sine wave and random noise so it's not like there's much difference
Difficulty wise, I'm not designing this game to be breezed through. The jumping mechanics and falling is a valid game play element, that with a bit of practice at the game is completely useable. I'm also not including Death (the boss) or a Medusa heads over endless pits equivalent!
I'm totally open to constructive criticism, but not complaining about difficulty where I'm pretty sure I'm not completely out of my mind yet for including (if I start adding pixel perfect jumps or similar, shoot me!).
I'm also not of a high opinion of most things SuperX46 says, having viewed his general attitude and postings on these forums.
Wish that last bit sounded less mean, but it's true.
