Pacifist run

First post here. I love this game.
Has anyone ever tried doing pacifist runs? Its fun trying to minimize your kills. I usually end up dying tho. BATS ARE THE WORST! You need to go so far out of your way to make loops around them so you dont kill them, or need to run immediately to avoid.
The game gets easier as you advance. Dark levels wreck you, and it sucks when traps / infighting gets counted as your kills
Its how I keep the game fresh after winning + gold medal every minigame.

I haven't one once my favorite challenge is GoH speed runs

When speedrunning, I rarely stop to kill enemies at all. Frogs make a useful landing pad, but that's about it.

Something like, you can only kill three things then instant death or lose one heart per kill?

Look up Ortoslon's speed runs, they may or may not be pacifist, but he generally avoided enemies.

Speaking of that what is everyones best speedrun time? Mine is like 8 minutes. The best I have ever seen is 2:57
