You could try ripping it from a youtube vid or something. Alternatively, I suggest the program sfxr, which is pretty much awesome for creating 8/16 bit SFX. Just keep hitting random until you get one that sounds similar!

Would you mind renaming this thread to something more clear as to what it is?

Something that may be impossible: "Aqua Wish" as an ".org" file which could be used in a CS mod. Cave Story uses only ".org" files for music, as far as I know. But I ask knowing that I have at least tried to ask.

I'm guessing, but I;d say the chances are over nine thousand. Sfxr has kind of become the standard tool for freeware game sound effects, so if it's not Sfxr then it's something modeled off of it.

Anything is possible Could somebody help with the unused La-Mulana songs in ".mid" format? Google is "off-line" due to the wind blowing wildly in Gansbaai.

Oops, I didn't read this entirely. Only "Aqua Wish" is as a ".mid" file... But the problem is: There's no ".org" file for Aqua Wish or any of those files. I'd try making one, but my skill is terrible. (".org" files are used in Cave Story)

Yes, Derek used sfxr for Spelunky, it's in the credits. I assume all the sounds in the live version will be made from scratch though.
I'm not sure how .org files were converted, I'm pretty sure they are used for some other indie games, but Pixel created the .org extension so most audio programs won't recognize or convert it.
