So apparently people get upset when you don't know whether to use he or she. Since telling gender over the internet is difficult, avoid offence by saying which one you want used.
I guess?
Also male gender constructs for me.

Usually the avatar is used to gauge gender, since Bae almost exclusively uses anime girls I'm sure that's what confuses(d) people. I thought he was a she when she first started. Anyway, I think it's funny when people get upset over it. If you don't make it obvious, most people will assume you're a guy.

You probably won't if the upset person started destroying pens and pencils and scissors and backpacks and books and stuff. That's one of two reasons why I left school 7 March last year - I have a destructive, evil personality... The other was because half of the class I was in caused detention for the whole class. I always check a person's profile before I say "him" or "her" or "it". That way, I can avoid "being hit over the head with a frying pan." Metaphorically, obviously. Also, as I have said somewhere, my first language isn't English, so if I misspelt something, that's accidental.

I'm probably the only one causing any confusion here, but yes, people do get upset when you misgender them and it is better to ask when you don't know.
Female pronouns, please.

Lawllll, Bae<3 Just use " it" when you aren't totally sure. To be honest, I really just automatically go with he in every scenario though. In real life, on the internet, doesn't matter. I often slip up and call my friends "he"s even though I have like two guy friends in the world. I just don't get along with male-type humanoids in person too often. x.x

Yeah, generally I just adjust the way I word things to avoid using 'him/her' specifically, if I'm not really sure. Still, I don't see how anyone can get upset if they haven't specified to anyone. In person, sure, but that happened to me a LOT when I was young because I had long hair all my life. I just kinda gave a blank stare or ignored it.

If I'm unsure, I just check the profile. Much easier for me.

Just use " it" when you aren't totally sure. Noooo, calling someone "it" or "he/she" or whatever else just, well to me, feels like comparing the person to an unimportant object in the former and, well the latter just makes it seem like you don't give a fuck about them. Proper neutral pronouns are They, They're, Them, etc. Also the being called "he" wasnt that much of a bother, realize I didn't start correcting people until this "he/she" and "(S)he" stuff started which is totally Hyperme's fault cause he's a meanie butt u-u (no jk you're not mean it's k, you are a butt though)
