First suggestion:
When asked for opinions on how to improve stuff people don't just post "yea" and actually try to come up with helpful solutions

Number two: Try to make every post as relevant to the thread as possible, considerably offtopic things should be posted in the offtopic topic. An effort should be made to include something relevant to the topic as well instead of just linking to tOT and otherwise empty posting (I noticed this makes threads sorta ugly and also inflates post count)

Honestly, I like some of the offtopic immaturity here, it's what makes it feel personal and friendly. When you see some out of nowhere post that makes you laugh, then people start a page and a half about that is where it goes overboard.

I don't think we need referrals and penalizations, people need to just know when enough is enough. Generally someone will post saying so, and get back on topic themselves.

Also, bitching about spam and such is why I left before, please don't make me leave again...
