I think Haiti, but there's probably different practices all over. Was it not seeds either?

Well... Check the Topic of Riddles thread at the Cave Story Tribute Site Forums to find the answer. I guess I actually managed to make a riddle hard to answer.

You should leave it open, but post more if you have them. Sorry, I'm sure the 'new' button keeps making you think someone answered it.

(Apparently the forums think that I posted it today, but I only edited it...) No, it makes me think "oh, hey, somebody replied, probably somebody who thinks it's too difficult". Also, Well...
I guess I actually managed to make a riddle hard to answer.
That post has more than meets the eye, so check the post out, highlight it, quote it, do almost anything you want to it. One: What is it, if it isn't edible? What is it, if it sounds edible?CLUE: It is a verb. Two: If it is dead, then it is alive. If it is alive, it is dead. What is it?CLUE: C _ _ _ _ _ Three: What can you hear, but never see?CLUE: S _ _ _ _ _ Four: What is somebody without the ability to post, yet with the ability to use the personal messenger?CLUE: F _ _ _ _ g _ _ _ _ (Two words) IMPORTANT: Please quote the riddle that you are answering. @Mvskoke: Did you play A Tale of Two Kingdoms, by any chance?

Silence
That riddle came from that game. In fact, the riddles that had "river" and "fire" as their answers came from that game, just slightly changed. That's why I asked. EDIT: Are these riddles impossible to answer?

1. Not the one I was thinking of, I didn't even know "beet" was an edible thing. 2. No, but the "a" stays in the original place. 3. "Silence" has 7 letters, that word only six. So I didn't answer. 4. Correct.

Well one outta four ain't bad...oh wait yes it is. Also, a beet is kinda like a radish, but blood red and I think bittersweet. I believe it's the main ingredient in Borscht, a traditional Russian soup that you eat cold. (Actually it seems to be quite widespread with hot and cold varieties, but I've always known it as a Russian dish)

"Sounds" is an answer, although the answer I was looking for was "Speech." However, I had forgotten that some people write it down, so Wonkyth is correct!
The first one I had thought of was "meet" (meat). Beet is correct, so two of four.
