So I noticed audio worm requested this awhile ago. Then arucard said he was gonna do it and didn't. then bae said she was working on it and forgot it.So I've decided I'm going to do it. New thingsOlmec-Ballos Giant Spider-Balrog Main dude- the guy you play as in cavestory Damsel- Curly Brace Tomb lord- doctor Alien- misery Jaws-cyborg fishy yeti king- enraged mimiga ghost- ghost from cavestory (when you climb up from egg corridor) compass-map system Pistol-polar star WIP booster-jetpack Shotgun- nemesis/missiles any suggestions Machete- blade (duh) Hedjet- demon crown Sceptre- some other powerful gun I don't use for shotgun Chest-cavestory chest Tiles etc. Version 1 is done!

Any plans for the other members of the cast as possible replacements for things? I bet the doctor or Misery would make a good Alien Boss.

No it wouldn't, super, those are much larger than the size they need to be, which happens to be one pixel larger than cavestory's in game spriteset, and GMK will handle that fine (not so much with the tiles though, fixing those is one of the reasons I never got arsed enough to finish).
By the way I did manage to get a pretty good soundtrack for it from all the unused music, I forget if I ever made the .oggs from them but that's really quick work so if you want I can get you those, 'koke
Also I was going to make the damsels Jenka's dogs and the different spiders the jellyfish

Y'know, I made a Cave Story soundtrack for Spelunky already. I've been meaning to update it, though. I'm not happy with how I tried to loop final cave to include its intro.  |

No need to rub it in. And ever hear of Resizing? Oh and you have to admit. Those sprites look pretty badass. |

Dang guys it doesnt matter! Ive already got a spritesheet
@hali i downloaded it when i started this. I planned to use it along with sound fx from the game to make it more cavestoryish but i couldnt find the effects
Also while I'm here...
