Spelunky the game the movie

Ive been making a movie in director for digital graphics and animation class, (you can see where this is going) and I thought about making a short spelunky movie. I will probably use halibabica's comic's plot and stuff if he doesn't mind and probably the original music. (unless someone else makes me some new ones to use/ suggests a good song, preferably with an mp3 file) it won't be done for a while because I'm not starting until my current school project is done and such. What do you guys think? Also the words will be in speech bubbles cause I don't want to record all the words and whatnot.

Edit: forgot to mention it's a sprite movie

Production has begun. I've made a title that's pretty awesome and saved a lot of spritrs for the first couple scenes also edited the camel so now I have one without a rider

I'm all right with it.  Just make sure you credit me for the comics and Derek for Spelunky, and it'll all be good.

You should give out scripts and let people here record the voices for you. Or just act out (in voice) some of the comics?

I would like to have a part but my high pitched 13 year old voice probably wouldn't be of use for any parts.

Yes. Yes I am. I'd like to play my hero, Shoppy! Actually, I can do voices so I'd do a couple if I could, just no girls. I can only do a Mrs. Doubtfire female voice.

Actually if you make the vid and post it, it should be possible to do commentary over the video. Anyway, whatever you do, just make sure to share it when you're done. Good Luck!

All of really done is make some scenes and get the sprites ready but animation doesn't start for a while.
