Original music, possibly graphics?

So, there will of course be an option in-game that allows us to switch between the old and new music right?

I really like the new art style, so the old graphics not being included I can deal with, but it's always nice to have the option.

Like how Cave Story+ did it, that was brilliant.

There's a fairly decent chance of it, I'd say.
That said, considering the sheer amount of new content, it might not be feasible to create new resources twice...

Anyway, graphics maybe, music probably not. Derek didn't make the music for Spelunky the first time so he would have to pay royalties to use it a priced game. In Cave Story every single thing was hand made by Pixel so there was no conflict.
