That doesn't prevent the Shane's Cave Story version of me doing it
Although I've been thinking about renaming the mod to something else.
Have any of you an idea of a name?
I was thinking about renaming it to Dragon Riders, because the planned Episode 3 (yeah, there's going to be an Episode 3) will contain the "manacles" (armbands that allow the wearer to ride their dragon and so on) of the Prince and Princess of the Dragon Riders.

Because it's one of the possible names of nathantcash's game that involves me having to destroy some machine (if I remember correctly).

I will say this:
The mod will be completely different. Anyone who has played its current version will probably NOT recognize it after the changes it has received.
I've done a lot of work on this mod today, even more than sometime in June!

The deadline for version 0.9X is 1 September - remind me about the mod if you can.

You probably won't recognize the Mimiga Village of version 0.9X, but you will if I don't remember to edit anything there

At the moment I have 147 HP and 100 maximum missiles.
And I'm at the Balcony, before the Misery boss.
But that's for testing purposes and I have encountered a glitch there that WILL interfere with the extended ending's bosses.

Sort of. Mixer8421 (now Randolf at the Cave Story Tribute Site Forums) won't be able to help until sometime in the future (don't know when), but there are things that only he (and a few other members of the forums) can do like the Title Screen hacks and the weapon hacks. If you have played my Shadows of the Stars mod, the starting weapon was ASMed by Randolf. In the Cave Story Re:coded mod (requires a better name) he made the Blade weapon better by allowing it to fire in two directions at once - but it can't fire up and down. He also changed the Nemesis' smoke into XP triangles.


This will hopefully be in the next version.
I have about two weeks before I can upload and release version 0.9X of Shane's Cave Story Episode 1.
