Well, FUCK YOU. It has nothing on mine. My mom practically kicked my ass
out of the house before I hit thirteen, and I never even met my dad. My only
friend till I was ten was the kool-aid prick next store who was always beating
the shit out of me and telling me I wasn’t worth shit. Its not even like I had
a choice. During my entire adolescence, I was moving around from place to
place trying to get along with people who didn’t even want me.

You think that’s the worst? My only friend was an Asian guy in his thirties or
something, who only kept me around because he thought I could help him get
laid. The only perk was that I also got to hang around with this cute ginger
chick. She was flat as a pancake, sure, but damn, she was a total nymph.
She must have been a sadist or something cause she always took pleasure in
hitting me and telling me how she loved to get wet.

But dear god, the bane of my existence was this adult couple that I could NOT
seem to avoid. You know, those absolutely sickening couples, like they wear
matching outfits and finish each other’s sentences? Yeah they were total
creepers. They also had a cat, which was at least twice as annoying as they
were. I swear, this thing would never shut the fuck up.

Like I said, I ended up moving from town to town getting into fights with
other kids my age, even adults from time to time.

The only thing that kept me going was my dream to become a Pokemon
master.

also maybe a bit of late news to some people but whatever

So recently out of curiosity I watched the pilot for The Tester, a sort of reality/gameshow program that Sony put up on the PSN.

It was physicality painful to watch. They put a bunch of really stupid people on the show, made them do "challenges" that are completely unrelated to gaming and barely related to testing (veiled under poor reasoning such as "well to be a bug tester you have to be able to notice small things, so we're going to make you play spot the difference"). Now if that weren't bad enough do you know what the prize is? A job as a Playstation QA tester. If you don't understand why that is terrible let me take a moment to explain.

"Bug Testing", also referred to as Quality Assurance, is pretty much the worst job in all of the videogame industry, and is wrongfully assumed to be or promoted as "getting paid to play videogames all day" where as its more like "Testing software that's probably shitty in the first place until youre absolutely sick of it and also the pay sucks". Don't believe me? Take a look at these two papers.

So Sony put up a ridiculous show that has nothing do to with anything and the prize is garbage.
Also the person to be kicked off in ep1 cried. And it was a guy. And he was crying over garbage.

I swear I have a brain tumor now from watching this.

But wait, there's more, the worst part is I'm probably going to watch it again because apparently Egoraptor (you know, that guy) joined on season 3 and I can only hope and pray that he's doing it as some sort of exploit as apposed to genuinely trying to win the godawful prize (especially since him being him he could probably get a lot better source of income through like voice acting or Awesome Series merchandise).

I remember going to TV Guide and religiously waiting for Pokemon to come up, back when i wasn't allowed to watch it

POOOOKEEEEEEEMOOOOOON!
I found out a friend at school had every episode of pokemon on her computer, and so have been getting them off her!
I tell her it's for my younger siblings, which it is, since I've successfully got them hooked on it, and one of my elder brothers got them two GBCs and Red, Blue, and Crystal versions, and I gave them my old pokemon card collection complete with OVER 200 GUST OF WINDS. But yeah, I've been watching ALL teh pokemanz!

Yeah. I'm still not allowed to play M rated games. It's a shame cause I want to try out Heavy Rain but I my parents say no M rated games. But now look at it this way. When I hit 18 years old... Something like Heavy Rain would be quite old! There would be much better games out there too. It's pretty stupid! Also I REALLY want to try Mortal Kombat... But again. No M Rated games for I

I can get away with borrowing games usually, for instance, I have Skyrim right now and ohmygod it's great. But my they also don't know about it, so yeah :3.
