Caveman Convoy v0.1This is a mod I started in August 2010 but abandoned when I had an idea for something else. I'm not going to work on it any more, so i've spent some time this weekend to make it playable enough to share. It plays at 640x480 (1x) or 1280x960 (2x+ in spelunky config). Keep the included levels in the 'levelscc' folder of your Spelunky folder so as to not mix them up with normal levels. More details included in the readme. I agree, this looks fantastic! It looks like the Spiderman 2 game for DS but actually fun!  i don't see the little option panel at the bottom of the screen and also I can't get config to open. so i dunno but it's not working for me. |

Very impressive. I remember having that game on GameBoy and this has just the same feel to it. It's also kind of funny how many things in Spelunky were directly analogy it lemmings powers.

In an early version I had wasted A LOT of time getting the cavemen to build tiny yellow brick steps just like in the original lemmings...then once I had it working I decided to use ladders instead, probably because it fit with the Spelunky theme better.  *Screenshot of brick steps* |

The ladders and bridges are probably better. I wish it were a little easier to make a two-span bridge though, more often then not they just fall off the end of the first one, or occasionally I end up with a gap somehow.
