Most other games I've played, had multi-weapon hot key swap, using the numbers 1 -  0 to do the swap, instead of overwriting the previous wep, like in Spelunky. You pick up a machete, then paste and the paste becomes the wep, instead of the machete still being active for swap. Would it be possible to do the hot swap key for weps in Spelunky? That would mean, if you get a shotgun, then a machete, you wil still have both for hot swap. Can I have a vote for this idea, please?

It could easily be done.  But part of Spelunky's challenge comes from being able to only carry one thing at a time, so I wouldn't like to see the official version changed this way.

It'd make a fine mod, though.  So I'll vote yes.

Yeah...a little forum etiquette, please.  Don't answer questions asked over a week ago, and use edit buttons instead of posting repeatedly.

And in answer to your question, no, mods don't 'work with' each other in any way.  You can combine mods if you have the source codes for both of them, but even that is tedious and risky.

Having custom hotkeys for items would make perfect sense for YASM... it's a great idea. I'd like to have more than 1 feature to add for an update though.
