With Spelunky and Minecraft messing up, I end up playing this fairly often. 5th ending, ALMOST beat Satan. He was one hit from death. So was I. Almost cried, considering how rare it is for me to find Sheol on a playthrough.
Still one hell of a game.

One of my gaming news places said something about it, but they move so fast and I get them all mixed up, I can't find it anymore...
I have a little more info about this. All I really know is that this will be the last content update for BoI, it's going to add about 50% more game, and it's going to cost $3 |

I'm surprised they ever considered it in the first place actually, somebody probably just told them it's like SMB (uh, thats meatboy, not mario sorry). Then they actually saw the game, not like you can just censor parts or take some things out.

Nintendo still has stuff like, Madworld and No More Heroes. I have no idea why they can't just bring TBOI onto the 3DS. |

Yeah, it's kinda a package deal. If it was only violent, or disgusting or whatever maybe, but all together I can't see that game on the DS. Not that I disapprove, just that I was a Nintendo fanboy for a lot of years and kinda seems off.
Although the few M titles Nintendo has gone in with have been pretty good. RE4 was made for the Gamecube and the remake of the first was pretty good. Same with MGS: Twin Snakes, and Eternal Darkness. NMH and Madworld are more on the campy, cartoonish violence side so I guess they got a pass..
And yes, the religious factor is a very sensitive subject, particularly when you are introducing it in this light to kids....of course if anyone paid attention to the damn game ratings then there wouldn't be that problem, eh?
