Hey you guys!  I got a good number of sounds set up with the guitar sound set I'm trying to make, please check out the video and let me know what you all think! Still work in progress, so some might be changed around and still not sure about a few others. Make sure to turn the sound up on the video, it's really quiet and you probably can't hear my mumbling at all. Yeah, I'm recording everything through a PS2 headset and had to jack the sound WAY up to even hear it at all. In game you can hear OK though, and I need to mess with it a little more but that's why I haven't put it out yet. Hopefully I'll have some time to work with it by this weekend, so wish me luck!  |

Yeah, I'm recording everything through a PS2 headset and had to jack the sound WAY up to even hear it at all. In game you can hear OK though, and I need to mess with it a little more but that's why I haven't put it out yet. Hopefully I'll have some time to work with it by this weekend, so wish me luck! Sound card doesn't allow it. I tried using workarounds with virtual cables or something like that, but it was more trouble than it was worth. I don't use it for much, and it's not technically my computer anyway, so I won't bother upgrading for now. |

Thanks for the feedback! I'll probably try to do some more later today and hopefully have enough to post it. I just want to get at least the most common sounds from the cave area first, so it feels mostly done. The ghost sounds awesome, I must say (which is funny because I just made a post about being to afraid to even let the ghost in my level). I do need some help though, I'm having a hard time coming up with something for the caveman death sound, giant spider, and shotgun. If you have an idea, let me know. Thanks again, and I hope you'll all check it out when it's done so you can really hear it. |

Didn't get a chance to work on any yet, I thought I would be off Friday but was wrong. I'm off today and am gonna try to get as much done as I can, so maybe by later this afternoon/night it will be up.

I got most of the rest recorded, this Giant spider sound is really kicking my ass though. Some I'll probably go back and fix because they aren't really the way I want them. For now, just check it out and know that if something sounds horrible to you, it sounds five times as horrible to me. I am, however, particularly happy with a few sounds. These would be the monkey, the new gem sound (I updated it if you heard it in the video), ghost, and teleport. So try to hear all those at least before passing too harsh a judgement.  This too is in 7zip format, unzip it and make a copy of your former sound folder before overwriting it. Edit: fixed a bug with spring sound, and moved download to top of page. |
