Giant Spider Bug

Encountered a bug which allowed me to kill the spider very easily




The right half of the spider was where the X was, and I threw a rope up. It froze in position, still in the "crawling" sprite. I then jumped on it till it died.

Hmm... Don't know what to say to that... I guess this was a problem with the collision detection...?

Well, hang on: where were you in that diagram?  Was there empty space all beyond the left of the diagram, and is that where you stood?  Did you throw the rope through the spider?  Did you throw it in non-spider space inside the tunnel?  Etc.?

You can whip the spider in those kinds of tunnels too. It's easy.

I was directly underneath the spider.

Weeirdness I've tried killing spiders just with loads of ropes for laughs and nothing like this happened to me.
Also this thread should probably be in bugs/suggestions...
