finally got around playing level 2, and it was much better indeed! I found it a nice challenge, not OMG, but certainly not easy either.

a few points for improvement:
- your stairs are unfinished. They need an ordinary stair-piece on top to function properly.
- I ended the level with a compass, 99 bombs and 56 health (after having dropped to 1 from getting hit by the twomping block in an unnecessary way). If you're intending to make his a continuous series, I suppose you have a problem here. I think removing the altar is the easiest option, but shortening the bottom bit of the stairs on the left so that you can't reach them once you've dropped down (make sure bouncy shoes won't help either) could be another solution.
- Fill empty spaces. The bottom part is just a huge gaping hole. Covering it up with blocks makes the level look a lot better.
