Hi!

How difficult could be to port Spelunky to the Dingoo's Linux OS (called Dingux)? I know Spelunky is based on Mark Overmars' Game Maker, but since the code is already open-source it might be able to compile to Linux and from it to Dingux. Is it?

Cheers!

@Oink!
It's not so simple. Spelunky's source code was released, but Game Makers's source (which, literally, is Spelunky's core engine) is still closed. And there isn't big chance (as far as I know) it will be ported on Linux in the near future.
So, the only chance you could natively play Spelunky on Linux, is if someone will write this game almost from scratch (at least - half of it) using OpenGL instead of DirectX.

And someone doing it right now =)
With aim for Dingoo A330 as well.

Take the time to make some sense of what you want to say and cast your words away upon the waves.

Perhaps use a simpler solution such as
http://www.maximumpc.com/article/howtos/how_run_windows_games_linux
or you could just google it yourself and possibly find an even easier one.
-Forgot to look for the Dingux, but i'm sure it's do-able somehow
