Note: Just in case people don't know the secrets, when there's a spoiler, I will put it between these, in beige: [example] <l--- Highlight.

I just transformed myself into the [Damsel] and was wondering, what would happen if you reset your data as a secret character. Would you poof into spelunky? Would you be spelunky the next time you go through a door? Will you be that secret character until you close the game and reboot? Will you be the secret character forever? I'm too afraid of resetting my data at this point as I only need to unlock the [kill room] to unlock the [Tunnel Man], and don't want to have to unlock the [time door] again.

Would resetting data as a secret character result in a bug, do you think? Anyone who is willing to test, be my guest, or, if you've already done so already, what was the result? I just think that this may cause something interesting to happen. Not so sure, but it's possible, right? Maybe, maybe not. I don't know.. But, next time you go to reset your data, if you can, transform into the [Damsel] first. Smiley

Not sure, but judging by the code (global.isDamsel or isTunnelMan) resetting would not turn you back to normal until you either do it yourself or close the game, as you always start as Spelunker.
This is because being the damsel/tunnel man is a condition, and has no timeout.

I had a couple of times, some of which are by accident, 'cause I let some people play the game on my computer at school (actually, some of the children were the ones that were resetting the game Sad )

This, basically. I can't say anything better than what he said.

Yeah, thanks. Cheesy
The little questions are sometimes the interesting ones.

So, if you're willing to answer a bit more clearly, then, please:

Do you stay as the tunnel man until you esc f10 or do you stay as the tunnel man until you close the game? Are you still the tunnel man when you close the game, and re-open it, or do you become spelunky again as soon as the game closes, full stop?

Although, Im pretty sure that you'd become spelunky again when it closes, so yeah. But for now, I have to go.. Feeling dizzy.

You become spelunky when it reopens.
