This thread about my playing experience one Zan's server.

It's an awesome place. At the spawn point there is a huge, constantly building city and a few warp points shrines. There is a secret warp points, but to get their names you must pay with diamonds. For each letter, that what I heard. After few days of walking, when I think I finally get into the untouched wilderness, there is some crafted mine or lonely tool-bench or another sign of civilisation. It's amazing! And it's huge! That's why I love Minecraft (like some old RPGs) - when you walking, you won't end at the some unclimbable wall or unpassable river, you gone to another place. From savanna to desert, from desert to forest, from forest to little town with a railroad. The railroad on a water, like in Miyazaki's "Spirited Away"! And there is flying island with a waterfalls. And a huge minecrafter monument.

That what you get, when you making not a money-pump but actually a game. You get a pure sandbox game which absolutely worth to be played.

And I love the trees there! It's not a vanilla generator, but it awesome.

Will made a journey diary report after uploading all images.

Spawn point, where it all starts. Behind me there are two warp domes. You could use warp anywhere and anytime actually, but you have to know the magic word. And these who knows won't tell it Lips Sealed

This is flying island. It reminds me Laputa somehow. It changed a bit science this shot, but I will make special report about it later.

A little watchtower on my way.

Quite a bad shot of covered bridge.

Very nice.

Night falls and I have to take a night stop at Cobbletown's furnace house.

At the middle of the night I get bored and gone to take some highland shots of town.

New Year trace?

At the top of tree. Did you sight creeper and zombie downstairs?

More shots of Cobbletown.

Beautiful waterfall.

Someone place these soul sand here. I couldn't imagine the reason. Mob-trap maybe?

Very high fountain.

Untouched forest.

Not so untouched forest.

Lumberjacks, probably.

Great green ones.

Frozen bay.

Little cavern with a little lake.

Taiga.

Frozen beach.

Treetops of snow.

Merciless tundra.

Falling asleep forest.

Great forest at the morning.

Mincrafter signs.

Cactus plantation. Further tequila?

Some sort of irrigation system, I suppose.

Even at this humble corner...

...you could find a signs of minecrafters persistence.

Bay panorama.

Boat's shore.

Unfinished hut.

More unfinished stuff.

The note to friend.

Settlement.

Giant in the mist.

My night stay here.

Till down I decided to explore settlement a little. It looks like it was build by server "veterans".

Some minecrafter Bunny made this sand house and place free-stuff chest inside.

Dawn from settlement's watchtower.

Giant in the last rays of sun.

Moonlight.

There was very big collection of books in sand house.

Staircase to watchtower.

Settlement over the window.

Rising sun.

Monument to minecrafter.

Master's signature.

Lava well.

Unfinished bridge.

Nearby hill.

Unfinished bridge from above.

Nature.

Mountie near the rail-station.

The rail-station. Rails goes by the surface of the water all the way to the island far behind me, like in "Spirited away".

Rail-station waiting room.

There was second floor with deep mine.

A very deep mine.

Waiting room at night.

From behind the ceiling.

*missing*
First rays of rising sun.

Light reflection on the mountain wall.

Tree patch.

First passers on streets of nearby town.

Garden.

Marks of elements.

Marks of minecrafters.

Strait forward.

A little town.

Fort Bunny. It has a warp placer, but I couldn't find the warp code. Something related to green, maybe.

Could it be the same Bunny?

Pack-man monument.

Fort Bunny's watchtower.

Underwater geyser.

Watchtower of neighbour town.

Bunny's, for compare.

Neighbour town's entrance.

Freekton City.

Phone?

Beautiful waterfall.

Long way down.

Down and rise.

Freekton's City mine. Looking like stair to subway.

Forest from above.

Savanna.

Corner of three biomes.

Green patch in the desert.

Savanna again. I was so amazed by it's look in first time, I decided to take this adventure.

Last lake?

Lake of lava in the forest.

Desert coast.

My further books.

Mountain on the edge of the desert.

View from my camp. When I wake up there was about six creepers, waiting for me outside.

Mountain's ark.

Desert.

Top of the mountain.

Savanna's scent.

Mysterious structures.

Close by.

Heights.

Little tree.

Nice adventure huh? A few points:

Slow sand or soul sand actually occurs naturally on Zan's server, as does netherack and lightstone (underground), and obsidian is the bedrock.

The town with bunny's sand house is Southpoint, which was built during a build-event hosted by Milaga. Her other house (with Pac-man ghost) is the town/shrine of Taure one of the unlisted, but not secret, warps. BTW, whoever told you to pay for warp names was either kidding, or trying to get one over on you Cheesy. Unlisted warps are simply to be found through exploration, though their names are not seriously kept under wraps.

Para's minecraft guy statue is, I believe, just outside his city, which is where that very deep mine is. It also just happens to be the most popular place for the time being.

Some sites your missing: Wahooiy's castle, Nick and Fudges arena, both in the desert just north from spawn. Also Nick's House of Love is pretty interesting, unfortunately he has been banned for duping, but left behind some nice builds.

Maybe you should put links to the pictures, because some people have slow computers.

Yeah, spoiler tags would be so nice here. I have problem on these big picture threads because when I load the page and scroll down, images keep popping up that make the page jump around like crazy Tongue

I've had it work before I think, but i forget how.

I seem to remember just saying Spoiler: Blah.
and it would make the blah in white text automatically, but it doesn't seem to work that way anymore, if it ever did here.

I used this way of hiding spoilers few times here (by formatting messages manually), but I would like to see real spoilers, which hides such content as images and links (they will be shown in blue anyway).
