I thought that this had been ironed out long ago but i've come across area 1 levels that have no possible path to the exit without bombs a couple of times now, often there is nearly an exit but its blocked off diagonally, if that makes any sense.

Does it have movable blocks on either side? I've seen those. Can't recall any really unreachable situations...

Sure you couldn't of come from the other direction? That happens sometimes too.

nope, i'd checked any possible location for a movable block and couldn't find one - it could be  that there WAS a movable block but the ground just stopped it from being able to be moved...

oh also the OP made it sound like this was common Tongue, its only happened twice and only one of those times did i really check thoroughly for a block.
