Which bit? The NFS series has always had pretty solid arcade-y racing, but to me it's just a way of testing how fast my absurd new pimpmobile goes. Def Jam NY really is extremely good, and those are all things that actually happen. There's a pivotal story battle that has you slamming Ludacris' head repeatedly into an SUV's door. There's something like thirty different unique fighting styles you can develop for your character; you do this by, for example, booting Flava Flav in the daddybag with such ferocity it knocks him out. I do not do these things out of malice; I fucking love me some hip-hop, but come on, these are all hilarious things to do in a computer game.

wow that was all serious? i guess its just the way you put it that made it sound like sarcasm, doesnt make that post any less funny though (posts talking about testicular trauma in videogames usually are)

hey this brings up an idea, what are people's favorite guilty pleasure games/games they get picked on for liking/no one else likes

my vidja guilty pleasures include the Sonic the Hedgehog series (to be fair I mostly like the games which suck less, shadow's game and sonic 06 were terrible)
the lego series (they really are fun though)
and things ive surly forgotten :'D

also, ptmc, i have no clue what youre talking about :'D explain more?

Code:
[img alt=this is a purposely broken image so I am alternate(alt) text to tell you what the image is supposed to be]http://exampleurl.com/exampleImaginaryImage.jpg[/img]
[img alt=this is an unbroken image so I am alternate(alt) text to tell you what the image is supposed to be]http://i53.tinypic.com/2ln7fi1.jpg[/img]

comes out as:

this is a purposely broken image so I am alternate(alt) text to tell you what the image is supposed to be
this is an unbroken image so I am alternate(alt) text to tell you what the image is supposed to be

putting the url of the img opening and closing tags has the same effect as putting it after img= in the opening tag, but the img= with url and alt text breaks the code:

[img=http://i53.tinypic.com/2ln7fi1.jpg alt=this is an unbroken image so I am alternate(alt) text to tell you what the image is supposed to be][/img]

I'm told that the alt attribute shows up as a tooltip in IE if u hover the mouse over the image, but not in other browsers (though in firefox, it shows up in the Image Info box under Associated Text:)

I think that's what you wanted to know...

Pieces on the SNES. A competetive jigsaw puzzle game shouldn't be as maddeningly addictive as this, but it is. Speaking of puzzle games, I'm still a big fan Tetrisphere on the N64; doesn't get nearly the love it deserves.
