Figured i should post this just for alucard http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=161450I challenge y'all to do this:
Make a giant statue of a creeper with green cloth, and include a face with black cloth, then send me a picture of the statue(try to make all of it visible), then another one of the statue burning to the ground.

did that ages ago, the fire was accidental...  seems i didnt get one of it burning, however long ago before colored cloth was added i tried to make a creeper out of leaves and wood, eventually gave up, it was burned away to make room for the new one  the leaves were victim of the alpha world glitch too (in that old worlds' trees would randomly become mutants with all the different leaves) |

I hate creepers.
They've blown up my spleef stadium on my SMP server twice now. I have NO FREAKING CLUE how they got in there in the first place -- It's well lit, and the entrance to the stadium is at the top of a flight of stairs -- a monster couldn't just WANDER up and in. Maybe I should tear the place down leaving the pit I dug, then rubuild the whole thing entirely out of INVedit'd glowstone or something, if that's what it takes to stop creepers appearing in my stadium.
The minecraft wiki seems to suggest that creepers don't behave like other monsters, they actually KNOW where players like to hang around. |

Meh. I actually don't like a lot of the things they're adding to it :C I think I might wait to start playing again until he's released the final update for this version. I dunno. But yeah, I like my underground house, where creepers don't touch me  |

Ok guys, in minecraft, I work more times on redstone systeme...
But pistons are a revelation : new traps, systeme for bridge and machine creating cobble stone (with lava and water)
No seriously, I very liked pistons.

I've watched a few videos of all the cool things you can do with pistons and other redstone devices, but never bother making anything like that myself...it seems a bit tedious to set up all the redstone wiring.
I prefer wandering around and exploring, especially cave systems...the survival part and all, and I'm looking forward to the adventure update quite a bit. When things like note blocks and dyed wool are added I could care less.

I think he's referring to the fact that it's not as the idea originally arose.
From what I can gather, the idea behind the Aether was as an opposite of the Nether, whereas this mod is more of a complete overhaul of the game progression.
I love the idea, and wish I had the time to play the Aether adventure the way the modding group has created it to be played.
Buuut today is my last day of holidays, and I'm woefully behind on my Japanese revision.
