I tried it out. Spent five hours lost in an abandoned mineshaft, only getting out when I found that a HUGE ravine had gone through the north end of it. HUGE. As in, right to the bed rock. I nearly drowned just swimming up through the ocean biome it was passing through. Loved every minute of it.  ...Except maybe one or two moments when I was cornered by a bunch of cave spiders, and had to block off that route and tunnel around for another entrance back into the mine. Damn, that was creepy!  |

Since my computer has issues running the lesserbugged versions of minecraft, i think i'll wait it out until the adventure update's actually released.

Truth about the pre-release, from the MC wiki: On Friday 9th, September 2011, version 1.8 was found in a hidden directory on the Minecraft website by a user on 4chan's /v/. It was rapidly redistributed and spread to other sites like Reddit. The same day, Notch admitted that the 1.8 Pre-release was leaked on Twitter. |

I spent a while building a house purely out of giant mushroom, but I didn't take a screenshot, and lost it when I went exploring without setting my spawn there first. :/ I made one of those, I'll get a pic when my friend puts his server up again, it's just a red one that I removed the stem from and then added walls. Endermen attack it way too often though. |
