Pistons are complicated in that function, even if you get them all to extend at once you wont be able to get them to all retract properly without doing some weird inchworm trick I saw in one of Sparklez videos :0

like, you press a button, and they all extend, not exactly at the same time, but, still together so each one extends and retracts?

here is how such things work, juts to be more clear
two sticky pistons. one pulls the other when it's not out, then the other pushes it.
(they can only pull or push not out pistons)

BAEKARA. I believe you wanted to see Kami's Lookout. I did all the planning, most of Building, but my friend aided me a lot, especially with building walls for me to walk on and build from :3 edit: yeah, I know it's not that good. xD Also, it took about 80 hours with all the revisions and cleaning up and such. http://imageshack.us/g/193/20110824005634.png/ |

Well I think it looks pretty neat, though its a bit of a problem that you took all the pics of the floor of it either in the dark or when it was covered in cloud, still neat though. You might wanna incorporate torches or lightstone to clear up that snow

We had them, but we were lazy, and we didn't want to add things that we're part of the Lookout, so we got rid of them. Ans yeah, the lighting/clouds always became an issue after awhile. Maybe I'll just take like a couple minute video showing it

You could just disable the cloud layer via playing with texture packs
also your point is moot, snow wasnt part of the building either

Oh well. :3 and it isn't my server, my computer doesn't have the capacity to host one, and my friend dislikes messing around with it too much.
It's not really a big deal. i don't mind it the snow really, i just hate it when it STARTS snowing/raining. it's impossible to build in that really dim lighting and the noise of the rain is infuriating after awhile.
