Spelunky has already been reviewed by a number of game sites.
But out of all of the game reviewers I've seen, I feel that Jayisgames has some of the best reviews, and that they only pick the best of the best. So if we can get Spelunky over there, that'd be a great way to give this game more popularity.
So if we could all head over to the Jayisgames submission page (http://jayisgames.com/game-submit/), let's get this game out there!

My only fear is that the difficulty of this game may not be of a causal level, which is what they specialize in, but you never know until you try right?

There's too much blood, and the statue of Kali in the background has nippleless tits.

Two big reasons why it will never be reviewed.

They do occasionally review darker, less kid-safe games. And they make sure to mention said mature content. There are some really gruesome things that pop up every now and then. ie: a few surgical and horror/survival games

Blood and nipplelessness doesn't stop a game from deserving a good review.

to be honest, that'd be the basis of a GOOD review in my book.

Hope they don't fault it as being "merciless" or "unfair" like other sites do nowadays.

Blood isn't really graphic, I assume if it got a rating 13+ would probably be appropriate. Which in reality means parents would let kids as young as 10 play it. As far as difficulty, I think that adds the casual play to it. Since it's pretty hard to sit down an play this game for hours straight, even if you're good you will finish way before that. Lastly, "nipplessness" is more likely to be accepted than "nipplefullness" Wink

For those concerned about Spelunky's bloodiness, take a look at some of the other not-so-kid-friendly games they've reviewed.

And the much, much worse http://jayisgames.com/tag/rating-r

is one especially good example of a game that wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the ridiculous amounts of blood.

You poor, naive man...

. . . But the writer immediately went on to say "But, it['s] so fun!" and then "This is a first: An insanely difficult game that doesn't make me want to throw my laptop at a wall."  I'm rather pleasantly surprised at how positive the response has been.
