This exactly. Although I'm starting to wisen up and slow down whenever there's a tricky jump or the like.

I either run when I'm collecting the last-bit of treasure or items in the caves, or when a Shopkeep is on my tail, so I can find cover more quickly, rather than getting a back, lodged full of buck-shot.
